Elijah's Foundation was born from the profound love of a family and the brief, beautiful life of a little boy named Elijah. Diagnosed with Trisomy 18 — a chromosomal condition often called "incompatible with life" — Elijah defied the language of statistics. He was held. He was named. He was known. And in his short time with us, he changed every heart he touched.

When we lost Elijah, we discovered an unspoken truth: families facing a Trisomy 18 diagnosis are often told what their child cannot be, instead of being shown who their child is. We founded this foundation to change that narrative — to walk with parents through impossible decisions, to ensure their child's humanity is recognized regardless of lifespan, and to transform our grief into something that lifts others up.
